| October 2026 I needed timing belt replacement ( per Subaru manual) a costly procedure, as half the engine has to be dismantled) I contacted Subaru for a price and they ignored my request for price and tried to sell me a used Subaru. I spoke with John and Brian and they informed me they have done many in the past and assured me, if they found anything in the process that indicated it wasn't worth the repair, they would let me know before proceeding. They did find valve gaskets had a leak and replaced them while they had it apart. It wasn't a cheap repair, but being retired and of limited funding and also putting a fraction of the miles during my working years, this repair fit the situation to a tee. I have my car back that I'm sure will last many more years and the repair was less that 3 or 4 new car payments, not to mention the insurance. Hats off to John and Brian.. THANKS..! |
